Note of A Speech

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Good afternoon.
It is my honour to stand here,My name is Chenjuan.I'm studying English in Chenlin Foreign Languages College.

Does anybody still remember the July,13th,2001.It was a great historical day for China and for all the Chinese people.Well,I think we all had dreams of becoming something great,like a doctor,a teacher or a rock star,that's right,from that day on,I've got a dream,a dream of becoming a real volunteer of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games,and now,it is just unbelievable for lucky me,a dream is no longer just a dream,I have been chosen to be the real volunteer and will serve the 29th Olympic Games.How incredible!!I just couldn't believe it when I got to know that wonderful news.I think the precious volunteer experience will be the most terrific memories in my whole life.

Well,up to the present,I've served two Good Luck Beijing Games,as a volunteers manager assistant in the 9th World Wushu Championships and as a transport volunteer in Water Polo China Open.Now,here I wanna share my fantastic feelings when I was working for those two games.Honestly speaking,I do think that it is not easy to be a good volunteer,cuz you see when you face the difficuties you can't cope with,when you feel tired and really couldn't hold on standing outside,when you feel wronged but nobody you can find to speak with and when you'll have to weigh gains and losses between important examinations and volunteer contributions.etc.

I think those are not only my problems but also you guys'!Anyway,do we yield to the difficulties?--Nope~ Absolutely no.Geely volunteers never yield to any difficuties,although we may feel tired,we may feel confused,but volunteer is such a glorious designation,nobody could easily got this name,and Geely volunteers are no doubt the top students in our college and no doubt will be the best volunteers during the service in the 29th Olympic Games .Well,here also,I wanna say thank you to our school -- Beijing Geely University.Thanks for giving me such a wonderful chance to take part in the Great Olympic Games and I am thankful to my dearest parents and friends,many many thanks for supporting me so I can enjoy my volunteer life and meet many great friends from other universities and from our university,such as you,you and you!

But soon,the real chanllenge will begin,the Olympic Flame has arrived in Beijng yesterday morning,everybody,are you ready,are you ready for accepting the world's test,I wish everyone of you would loudly and proudful say,"Yes,Sure,Of course,Absolutely,No doubt,we are ready!" I think you guys won't let our nation down,I Think our country must be proud of what you guys' contributions,and I can tell you from experience that happily doing what you love are absolutely worth it,it will make you a stronger,happier and more confident person.So please practise more and get ready for it,please keep smiling,because volunteers' smile is the best card of Beijing!

This is an awful speech by me.Actually,I thought maybe it was just a cheat on April Fools' Day,but no,I was wrong.
