Confused!!!!!

Actually,I got two amazing ways to practise my English in this summer vacation--Joost & Second life.

Maybe not all you guys know about what they are, so here, let me tell you...
Joost is a new way of watching TV on the internet. With Joost, you get all the things you love about TV, including a high-quality full-screen picture, hundreds of full-length shows and easy channel-flipping.

SO... that means you could get kinds of Foreign programs on the internet over your pc,isn't it cool?!
Second Life is a 3-D virtual world entirely built and owned by its residents. Since opening to the public in 2003, it has grown explosively and today is inhabited by a total of 7,942,532 Residents from around the globe.

From the moment you enter the World you'll discover a vast digital continent, teeming with people, entertainment, experiences and opportunity. Once you've explored a bit, perhaps you'll find a perfect parcel of land to build your house or business.

You'll also be surrounded by the Creations of your fellow residents. Because residents retain the rights to their digital creations, they can buy, sell and trade with other residents.

The Marketplace currently supports millions of US dollars in monthly transactions. This commerce is handled with the in-world unit-of-trade, the Linden dollar, which can be converted to US dollars at several thriving online Linden Dollar exchanges.

That means you can create an avater in it as a resident making friends from all over the world--awesome~~

But problem is I cannot use any of them.
I downloaded the Joost and already got an invitation from a nice Chinese Joost website(coz Joost needs invitation to run it),but when I start it ,I just got forever the same page: AN UNKNOWN ERROR!AN UNKNOWN ERROR OCCURRED ,SORRY! GOD~~~ What do I do ?

Later I EMAILed the support of Joost and submitted a ticket, get nothing usefull information.Anyway, even if Chinese Joost website is unable to solve my problem!!! Confused!!!!
Okay, then Secondlife.Well actually I've played that before in the internet room of my school, and met lots of funny and lovely international friends over Secondlife... But now,I can't even login .
Every time I runed it, always got: Login Failed,Secondlife cannot be accessed from your computer!

OH-MY-GOD~~~

What's going on? What's wrong with the internet, what's wrong with my computer?????

Anyone who can help me?? I really need them,Joost is such an amazimg, cool, awesome application;and Secondlife ,god who had played the much more wonderful game which even could make money from it before???...

Dead...
